Schmidt Consulting Group is providing services for the multi-phase design of a new $75 million Powertrain Manufacturing Facility and Central Energy Plant Complex.
The first phase of the project involved the relocation of the Golf Course Maintenance Facility and the Navy Exchange/Morale, Welfare and Recreation (NEX/MWR) Combined Car Care Facility and Navy Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) Thrift Store to make way for the new Powertrain facilities. The new Golf Course facility provides a new workshop, offices, and break room for the golf area maintenance function. The new NEX/MWR combined facility includes a new vehicle workshop, retail space, and office areas.

Sustainable design features are integrated throughout the entire Power Train project.
