Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc. provided design services for the new Million Air facility for the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport. The two-story general aviation facility spans over 52,500 square feet of space, which includes a 20,000 square foot hangar with a 28 foot height clearance, on-site US Customs facility, 12,500 square foot passenger terminal, three conference rooms, exercise facility and showers, and a business center, on-site deli and catering services, aircraft wash facility, as well as full service maintenance and parts departments. Million Air’s luxury amenities include a pilot’s lounge, deluxe coffee bar, theater room, and a flight planning center.
In addition to the many on-site amenities, the new facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and maintains a 24 hour security and surveillance system.
