Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc. provided Electrical analysis and design for this three-story medical office building located in Mobile, Alabama.  The project consisted of the evaluation of requirements for converting the existing Type III Essential Electrical System to a Type I Essential Electrical System and identify the items required to be modified to qualify as a Type I Essential Electrical System.

 

ELECTRICAL SERVICES INCLUDED

• Preparation of a checklist of the items needed for a Type I Essential Electrical System

• An on-site review of the items on the checklist relative to the existing electrical rooms, generator, transfer switch, fuel system, and related items.

• Prepare a list of the items noted as deficient relative to the checklist for a Type I Essential Electrical System.

• Consultation with Facility Management staff to develop a plan for addressing the deficiencies.

• Modification of one line to update the information and record compliance with the State Requirements.

• Preparation of a modified one line drawing showing the Essential Electrical System and associated electrical items for submission to the State of Alabama.
