Established in Pensacola, FL in 1987, Schmidt Consulting Group is a small-business, multi-discipline engineering firm that provides comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, communications, sustainable design, energy management, and commissioning services. We connect with clients to find solutions for their complex challenges, while making the most of client resources.
We strive to provide clients with the most precise, accurate, efficient, and cost-effective solutions available today. Each major discipline area – Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural – is led by a principal who is a hands-on engineer with decades of experience in working the toughest of issues. We provide clients with a level of expertise and oversight not found in most larger firms.

Supporting Federal Missions
SCG has a long history of providing mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering services to Federal clients for facility and infrastructure projects around the world. Over the last 10 years, SCG has completed over 400 projects for DoD clients using a variety of contracts and delivery methods. We have designed nearly all typical DoD project types including headquarters, operations, training, housing, airfield, industrial, storage, administrative, and utilities.
SCG currently has four IDIQ contracts, as the prime or in a joint venture arrangement, with Eglin Air Force Base, Robins Air Force Base, USACE Mobile District, NAVFAC Midlant, and NAVFAC Southeast.
