Located in Northwest Florida, the University of West Florida is a unique university nestled in a natural landscape. The main campus of 1,600 acres of rolling hills and natural woodland along the Escambia River is ten miles north of downtown Pensacola and 15 miles from the whitest beaches in the world. The University's buildings have been designed to complement the natural beauty of the nature preserve, which includes nature trails, streams and bayous.
UWF enrolls over 9,400 students in its College of Arts & Sciences, college of Business and College of Professional Studies.
Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc. began its relationship with the College in 1989 and have since provided design services for numerous new construction projects, as well as for renovations and additions. The following are select projects:
