Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc. provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Communications design services for this $11.3 million, Design/Build project at Eglin Air Force Base - Duke Field, Florida. The project provided a 55,500 square foot joint-use facility which supports deployment requirements for the 919th Special Operations Wing (AFSOC).

The Mobility Center processes and coordinates the deployment of personnel and associated support equipment and cargo, requiring a secure access-controlled Deployment Control Center (DCC) in the design. The Aerial Delivery Service Center assembles and processes airdrop loads for deployment purposes. The facility supports a staff of 150 personnel and is designed to process up to 300 deploying military personnel (with supporting equipment) on a 24-hour-a-day operational basis.
