| Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc. provided state-of-the-art audio-visual design services for the Hub Renovation project at the University of Florida’s O.I.T. Academic Technology and International Center in Gainesville. This historic, 59,900 square foot building was fully rehabilitated to house two unrelated university departments: Academic Technology and the International Center. The architect, Ponikvar & Associates, Inc., took a holistic approach to combining the two departments, finding similarities and opportunities to combine spatial requirements. The construction cost for this renovation totaled $7,105,000. |
