The building's heating and air conditioning system provides individual temperature control for each classroom using high-efficiency water-source heat pumps with a hydronic loop supported by a gas-fired hot water boiler and a closed-circuit cooling tower. Dehumidified outside air is supplied to each classroom from dedicated preconditioning systems. All of the HVAC equipment is located on mechanical mezzanines above the corridors throughout the school.
