Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc. began its relationship with the District in 2005, providing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Communications design services for five new Elementary Schools: Mike Davis, Palmetto, Eden Park, "L," and Parkside. Each school is a two-story facility, spanning approximately 121,727 square feet. The construction budget for each school is approximately $27 million. Schools "L," Eden Park, and Palmetto contain Enhanced Hurricane Protection Areas (EHPA). Construction documents for all five schools were produced within a three month time frame.

Our firm worked closely with the architect and contractor to ensure that construction documents were produced on-time and within budget.
