Cassine Station, located in Sea Grove Beach, Florida, is a newly constructed $5,250,000.00, 43,929 square foot condominium. The project consisted of four stories, containing 25,300 square feet of commercial space, a 2,400 square foot office addition, and 18 units. Located on a corner site defined by a beach highway and the entry drive to a large residential subdivision, the building acts as both a sign to the highway and a gateway to the entry of the subdivision.

The ground floor is designed for multiple retial or office tenants and the top three floors are dedicated to residential condominiums. At the south and along the highway, a stair tower has been pulled away and rotated to address the street geometry.

The top of the stair provides a Martini deck for homoewners to gather under the trellis crown to watch the spectacular sunsets. The colonnade to the east boasts columns that run from the ground to the top floor where they are topped by a trellis. The intention is to frame the public space of the access road while creating continuity from the bottom of the building to the top.

Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc. provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Structural design services for the project.
