Brosnaham
Sportsplex and Stadium was selected as a winner in the 2007 National Association
of County Park and Recreation Officials Award in the Class I category
— Park and Recreation Facility. Nominees for the award were judged
on facility design, use, and functionality, community need, and its management
and maintenance techniques.
Ashton Brosnaham Park is a 110-acre regional park located in Pensacola, Florida. The park features a 2,500 seat stadium, 10 multipurpose fields, a covered pavilion, concession stands, a media and conference facility, a picnic area, and a playground, among many other amenities.
Schmidt
Consulting Group, Inc. designed the Structural, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical
systems for the stadium and surrounding buildings. Our firm also designed
the electrical distribution system for the sports lighting for the soccer
stadium and the practice field located behind it.
