| The University of Florida is the nation's leading powerhouse in college football. The home of the Gators is Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at Florida Field, aka, the "Swamp." With a capacity of over 90,000 fans, the Swamp is one of the State's densest populations on game day and the ninth largest college football stadium in the nation. In today's world, the safety and security of fans is no small feat. Through several grants administrered through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the University completed the installation of phase one of a camera surveillance system in 2005. Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc. designed and administered construction of this initial system. |

| "From system design to construction administration, SCG's knowledge and application of video security surveillance systems was instrumental to the successful installation of a premier system that fulfills the post 9/11 security needs that the public has come to expect," said Major Tony Dunn with the University of Florida Police Department. SCG completed design for phase two of the system. While the technical details of the system are not public, the completed system will provide views of nearly 100% of all public areas within and outside of the stadium. |
