| Since 1987, Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc. has specialized in educational facilities projects and enjoys ongoing working relationships and continuing contracts with numerous universities, junior colleges, and school districts in the southeast United States. Bay County is one of those school districts that our firm has had the privilege to serve for the past 14 years. Bay County is located in the Northwest region of Florida, positioned between Calhoun County to the east and Walton County to the west. Bay County has a population of over 163,505 and is steadily growing. There are approximately 26,000 students enrolled in grades K-12 in the district. The Bay County School District consists of twenty-two elementary schools, seven middle schools, seven high schools, one alternative school, two adult education schools, and one special purpose school. In the past 14 years, Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc. has provided design services for over 130 renovation/addition/inspection projects, as well as design for four new schools. Paul W. "Wayne" Elmore serves as the Coordinator of Facilities for the School District. In this role, he supervises facilities planning and construction. Regarding our performance, Mr. Elmore had this to say: "SCG maintains a very professional staff of engineers and technicians with knowledge of proven designs that meet the needs of the client.
